Which one is the best music school in north america |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: violist - 19 Months Ago. 1. Curtis Institute of Music
2. Juilliard School/New England Conservatory of Music
3. Cleveland Institute, Yale, Eastman, Indiana, Peabody, Rice, Oberlin (an undergraduate school)f
4. Northwestern, Michigan, USC, SUNY stonybrook, McGill University...
Of course, this is a difficult question since it depends on your field of musical study (Eg: Curtis would be excellent for instrumental studies but McGill would be better for Audio Recording). The school should be secondary to your supervisor.

| How do people survive and adapt to hot desert climates such as Sahara desert, Africa? | 2 | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: sherwin - 31 Months Ago. People are found living in extreme heat and extreme cold, from the Sahara to the Arctic, because people are extremely adaptable. With the cruel natural selection process, people who can't adapt die off. But people who adapt through the generations survive and thrive in any environment.
While that applies to generations of people, pepole living do not necessarily adapt to extreme conditions. For example, Eskimo's cannot adapt to the environment of the Sahara, nor can Africans survive in the Arctic. Changing environment in such extremes causes people to at minimum get extremely sick.
In the Sahara, people adapted by their rituals, clothing, shelter, and activities. During the midday sun people generally stay sheltered and have a siesta. If they go out in the day they cover up with loose clothes to keep themselves shaded cool.
The houses have been built to resist heat so it is cool inside, without air-conditioning.

Best Answer So far: Answered by: Violet Pearl - 32 Months Ago. If it's every morning, you likely suffer from pollen allergy. You should remaining indoors in the morning, for example, when the outdoor pollen levels are highest. Get a HEPA filter for your entire house connected to your furnace, as those units are best suited to reduce dust, pollen, and any other airborne allergens.
Sunny, windy days can be especially troublesome. If you must work outdoors, wear face masks designed to filter pollen out of the air reaching their nasal passages.
If it bothers you a lot, do whatever you can to avoid the environment that you're allergic to, including vacations away during allergy season, or even moving away.

What are the differences between Call Option and Put Option? |
| In: Business.Investing Asked by: kennethchou - 34 Months Ago. Viewed 10743 times | |
Best Answer So far: Answered by: EricC - 29 Months Ago. The buyer of a "call" option pays for the right, without the obligation to BUY some underlying instrument FROM the writer of the option contract at a set future date and at the strike price. If the underlying price at that future date fluctuates above the strike price, the call option buyer will have a valuable contract.
The buyer of a "put" option pays for the right, without the obligation to SELL some underlying instrument TO the writer of the option contract at a set future date and at the strike price. If the underlying price at that future date fluctuates below the strike price, the put option buyer will have a valuable contract.
Basic trading strategies that involve puts and calls are:
1) BUY CALL = if you anticipate the price to rise quickly. (As you're paying for the right to buy, that right cost you money each day. So if the underlying price rises too slowly, you still lose.)
2) BUY PUT = if you anticipate the price to drop quickly. (Note that you're not legally allowed to buy put against any company you have directorship or officer positions, or of course if you have insider information.)
3) SELL CALL = if you anticipate the price will NOT rise quickly. You can hold the underlying stock, and sell (or WRITE) calls to enhance your income. But if the price does rise quickly, you limit your gains while giving up the unexpected gains.
4) SELL PUT = if you anticipate the price will NOT fall too much too quickly. You can WRITE a PUT to enter a stock at a real bargain. But if the stock crashes, you can still stand to lose a lot.
| Describe "the culture of consumption" during the Eisenhower administration? | 2 | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: Doug - 23 Months Ago. In the aftermath of WWII and the Korean War, as Europe and Asian rebuilds, America enjoys an unprecedented period of economic growth and conspicuous consumption.
With the rapid growth of wealth, it became culturally popular to purchase material goods far in excess of people's basic needs.
The original invention of money was a storage of contribution, so that if I do something good, I can get something in return at a later time. They motivation is a continuation of the start of human communities, which is to do stuff for each other.
Over time, the concept of money has become twisted, so that it's the money itself that's respected, instead of the contribution of the person to society. And what better way to display wealth than consumption.
This trend accelerated in the latter half of the 20th century, as people work to retire, so they don't need to work anymore. People want money so they don't have to contribute anymore. Which is a complete reversal of the original purpose of money in the economy.

| How can I get very rich on Habbo Hotel? | 1 | |
| |
|
| In: Tech.Internet Asked by: Er - 31 Months Ago. Viewed 9595 times | |
Best Answer So far: Answered by: abr71310 - 31 Months Ago. There are many ways to get "rich" in Habbo - however you must clarify "very rich" - "very rich" as in Attires rich or "very rich" as in about Touching rich? (as he was hacked and lost most of his stuff).
The first two methods I will discuss are illegal - they are not recommended but this is how .bill- and ah- got rich.
You scam. Buy rights to a big casino like Attires's, then scam everything you can at the same time. You can make maybe 50 - 60 HCs per day like this, if you can appear "trusted" for at least twenty minutes.
You con. Using a script or a hack, you can put up a Dino Egg, and ask very low, maybe a DJ deck for it. Then purposely decline, and trade again - instead of putting in a Dino Egg, you quickly put up a pod chair (purple) then press accept. If they are stupid enough you can get a DJ deck for virtually nothing!
These methods are not recommended as you can lose your reputation (whether or not you have one can be debate-able) and very quickly get banned.
However, some slower, but more "legal" methods involve:
- Coin trading (this can make maybe 5 - 10 coins per hour, if you know how)
- this method requires some knowledge of the badly designed habbo coin economy.
- HC sofas are 15 coins each, while Gold bars (50 coins) are 3 HCs each.
If you play your cards right you can make a LOT of money (but slowly).
- Supers trading.
- This ALSO requires knowledge about the Habbo furniture value trends (websites are not recommended).
- Buy supers when you believe they are at a very low price, then hold on to them (hide them, preferably, to stop the temptation of selling it) and wait until the rare value on them skyrockets - you can make about 10 - 50 HCs doing this.
- Cons to this method: It's a gamble. The value may never go up.
- Thus, you have to know your values before you try this.
