Why is it that global warming is so apparent but yet government and corporations continue to do nothing about it?

Why is everyone in power more conerned with making money than saving our planet?

Short-sightedness, the inability to see beyond a certain distance or time, appears to afflict people with low intelligence, which applies to most verbally-talented people that are in charge of governments and corporations.

Why is it so difficult...
1. For politicians to see beyond their term in office.
2. For CEO's to see beyond the profit of their company.
3. For all humans to see humankind beyond their lifetime.

We should not tolerate having stupidity in power with our votes. We should choose to work for people with far-sighted abilities, and vote for governments with vision.

We should make a stand.

There are people who work to do do goods for the planet. but this amount of people are probably less than 1% total population in this earth. which is why, their work do not see actual result changes.Unless 70% population in this earth are aware of the damage they done and make it a habit to save the planet, we all are likely heading to live in a very bad environment.

Why everyone are more interest to make money than saving planet, i suppose it is because almost everyone are struggling to make a living to stay alive. without money = death. Greed can be another reason why making money is far more important than saving planet.
