| Which massively multiplayer online racing (MMOR) game is the best and most popular? | 1 | |

Best Answer So far: Answered by: Rock Star - 4 Days Ago. From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_game#MMO_Racing
Currently there are only a small number racing based MMOs, including Kart Rider, Upshift StrikeRacer, Test Drive Unlimited, Project Torque and Drift City. The Trackmania series comes close to being an MMOR. Although Darkwind: War on Wheels is more combat based than racing, it is also considered an MMOR.
Kart Rider and Drift City are my favorites. Project Torque also looks great but lags a bit for me. Both are awesome racing games connected to a huge number of players.
Upshift Strikeracer is more of a shooting game than a racing game. And Test Drive isn't free.

Best Answer So far: Answered by: sherwin - 2 Weeks Ago. Question and Answer sites in the context of the web should be very different than personal conversations, as they should take into consideration the very different audiences.
The current web, at its best, presents the collaboration of individual contributions, which can over time be impressive in quality and quantity. When a system such as Yahoo!Answers reward users for selecting best answers from a list sorted by time, it encourages people to answer quickly to get to the top of the list. The resulting lack of patience encourages hast e and inferior quality.
Furthermore, questions and answers need not be entered as conversations in the web context. Q+A only needs to be read as conversations. Here's what I mean. If you answer a question, and then find a better answer, you should be allowed to refine your prior answer. This results in exceptional quality, like Wikipedia.. HelpGlobe model.adds user ratings, which should surpass Wikipedia in trustworthiness, over time. (But not depth)
